Participate in assessments

Contribute your views and information

The Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board was established under the Umbrella Final Agreement to consider environmental, socio-economic, and cultural effects of proposed projects to support informed decisions about development in the Yukon.

Public participation helps ensure projects consider their potential impacts. During comment periods, you can review information and share input that becomes part of the public record. Clear, relevant comments focused on potential effects.

ARRC Programs

Participate in the ARRC’s Wild Meat Donation Program

The ARRC accepts donated wild meat from local outfitters, including Kusuwa Lake Outfitters, and helps distribute it within the community. The program helps ensure that harvested meat is put to good use while supporting local food access and community sharing. Donations may be available to individuals, families, Elders, or others who would benefit from some extra meat. If you or someone you know could use wild meat, please feel free to contact ARRC.

ARRC Programs

Participate in the ARRC’s Wolf Snare Making Equipment Program

The ARRC welcomes local trappers and assistant trappers to use our office space and equipment to make wolf snares. We have the necessary tools and supplies available for use at the office, making it easier for trappers to prepare equipment locally. Please help spread the word to assistant trappers on your line about the available equipment and any current wolf-harvest incentives.
